  •  The exact length is determined by the border officer, recorded on form I-94.

Can It Be Extended?

  • Yes, the E2 visa can be extended for another 2 years.
  • After that, you may consider applying for another visa or a Green Card.

  • Average processing time is about 5 calendar days after the interview.
  • Interview appointments can take several months to schedule, depending on availability.
  • In urgent cases, an expedited appointment can be requested.
  •  Document preparation is complex and can take time — start the process 3 to 4 months in advance.
