SERVICE SUPPLIER VISA

Since December 31st, 2020, the United Kingdom is no longer part of the European Union. This has resulted in impactful changes to the free movement of people from Europe that were in effect until that date.

Initially, for continuous stays of less than 90 days and activities related to tourism and business (visiting clients or suppliers, attending fairs or congresses, etc.), no visa is required.

For any other activity or continuous stays exceeding the aforementioned 90 days, Europeans will need to apply for a visa.

What You Need to Know

✅ This is the visa required if you have a service provision contract with a British company as an employee of a foreign company or self-employed. A sponsor is required.

Duration of the Visa

📅 The duration of this visa can be requested for six or twelve months depending on the contract.

Maximum Stay and Number of Entries and Exits

• 🛬 The maximum continuous stay duration is 6 or 12 months, depending on the duration of the visa.

Can It Be Extended?

This visa can be extended if:

• The contract continues.
• The total maximum time has not been reached.
•  The work, qualification, and experience continue to meet the requirements.

Processing Time

• Once the application, including identity proof and documents, is completed, a response will be received within 3 weeks (or 8 weeks if done from within the UK).

Processing Fees

• The official fee charged by the UK government’s Immigration Department for a Service Supplier Visa is €345.
